drug because of infection caused by overgrowth
of non susceptible organism 3-Rotate I.V frequently to
avoid thrombophlebitis 4- Protect I.V solution from
light Antibacterial – Anti parasitic drug5-
Reduce the dose in hepatic impairment
6- Provide regular oral hygiene if there is
G.I.T problem
7- Provide small frequent meal , sugarless to
relieve metallic taste
8- Monitor SGOT level frequently
9- Reduce dose in hepatic disease
10-Avoid alchol as toxic reaction will occur
11- Caution with p.t liable to edema or taking
corticosteroid
3- Antacid or H2 HISTAMINE ANTAGONIST•
